Change
in Diet
Do
your parents or grandparents used to eat the same food as you? Do their eating
habits as same as you? The world has been changed a lot recently. When many
advanced machine and theory has been discovered, we know much more knowledge than
old people. And In the past, people used to cook by themselves and eat the
local food, but now everything is different. Young generation like to taste
different kinds of food, Such as Western, Middle East and Asian food or fast
food.
In addition modern family is not like to
cook by themselves and prefer to eat outside. All these kinds of changes has
been happened around us and of course our Diet is not the same anymore.
The
knowledge of food has been changed, now people has a different thinking of
food. That is because people discovered many things that they did not know in
the past. For example, in my country people used to eat white rice, they
thought white rice is delicious, soft. Now, more and more people choose to eat
brown rice as their main food. That is because some researchers proved that
brown rice has more nutrition than white rice. I remember my mother told me
that in the past white rice is for the rich and brown rice is for the poor, but
now it is opposite. Further more people use less oil and sugar for eating. This
kind of change helps people to eat healthier.
When
you are travelling you can find Macdonald is everywhere in every country. That
is a trend now in the world, businessman like to extend famous store to other
countries, then they can earn much money. Our diet has been changed by this
trend a lot, these kind of food have almost the same flavor in every country. So
that when you get used to eat these food, you are hard to get rid of it. But
most of these are not healthy, therefore many experts think that the reason why
there is so many obesity today. And they want government build some rules to
restrict these food in order to protect people.
People
are busy nowadays, most families are double income. Both of parents have to
work, that means they do not have time to prepare food for the family. I
remember when I was young, my family cooked every day. We ate the food that is cooked
by parents or grandparents, they know what you need. Everything is fresh and is prepared for
your health.. But today when you eat outside, restaurants are just
want to make the food is tasted delicious and looks beautiful, they do not care
about the quality of ingredients that they use. The most important thing for
them is to attract you to get into their restaurant.
In
conclusion, our diet has been changed rapidly, and we cannot control it. Good
things and bad things are happened together. People have to consider about this
issue seriously, it can help us to get into a bright future or led us to the
end of the world. People have to be taught the right sense and knowledge of eating
and government have to support people to stop eating fast food too much. And
the most important is you have to stick your mind to choose the right food in
your diet.
